The three basic types of frame

With so many frames to choose from, you might want to narrow things down. The first decision you have to make is whether you want full-rimmed, half-rimmed or rimless glasses.

Glasses with full rims

Classic glasses have a full frame. Full frames generally give a new look to your face. There are a wide range of shapes and colours to choose from.

Full rims also have a practical advantage: They are the best protection for the lenses. For sports, outdoor activities and jobs involving physical labour, full rims makes sense.

Half-rimmed Glasses

Half-rimmed glasses are a nice compromise between frameless and full-framed spectacles. You will look a bit different, but not completely different. There are many styles to choose from, some very discreet, others clearly out to make a statement.

Rimless Glasses

Rimless glasses are unobtrusive. People will often not notice that you are wearing them. Also, rimless glasses let you decide between 8 different shapes of lens. So when trying them on in our fitting room, don“t forget to try out each frame with different lens shapes.

Because they are less visible, they are also less of a fashion statement. Which means they will look good for longer.
