What size glasses do I need?
We want your new eyeglasses to fit at least as well as your old ones. In order to do this, we need five measurements from you: front width, lens height, lens diagonal, bridge width and arm length. All of these numbers combined give the shape and size of your new eyeglasses from Brille24.

Front Width
Tell us your front width by measuring the distance in millimetres from the left frame-joint to the right frame-joint of your glasses. It's important to get this right, because if your glasses are too narrow they will be uncomfortable. If they are too wide, they might look a bit silly.
You could also use the convenient fitting function in our fitting room to check if your eyeglasses are the right size. Our pictures are true to scale to guarantee a correct fit.

Lens Height
It's the distance from the top of your lens to the bottom. Although if you choose a different frame shape, the new glasses might of course have a different lens height.

Lens Diameter
Lens Diameter is the length of the longest straight line that can be measured on a lens. This value is included in the detailed information about the frames that you can click on when choosing your glasses.

Bridge Width
This information is also given for all our frames. Don't choose frames that are to tight or to loose on your nose!

Arm Length
The arm length is also given for all our frames. If the arms of your glasses are too short, they won't sit on your ears properly.
