Brille24 takes data security seriously. We do not save personal data or cookies. This information is deleted immediately after you have left our website. Secure payment and shipment procedures make buying glasses online with Brille24 discreet and convenient.
Encoding
Our website uses 256 bit SSL encoding - SSL stands for "Secure Socket Layer". SSL ensures that data is not only transmitted securely, it also remains encoded after transmission. You can recognize a secure connection by the lock symbol that appears at the bottom of your screen.
Brille24 uses an RSA 1024 code exchange and encodes user data with Triple-DES 112/168.
We don't pass on personal information without permission
We don't pass on your personal data including your home address or your e-mail address to anyone without your permission.
We do of course have to give some information to our production and logistics partners - see our terms and conditions - so that they can manufacture and deliver your glasses, but they are only given the information they require to complete their own particular part of the process.
Right of access to personal data
You reserve the right to access, edit, or delete your personal data at anytime. Just ask our customer service for help.
Change and delete your personal data
Simply log in to your personal account and you can change and delete your personal data yourself.
Cookies
Our online shop uses "cookies" often to make the website more user-friendly. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. Most of the cookies we use are called session cookies - they will be erased after your visit. Some cookies will be saved by your browser for longer - they allow our site to recognize you if you visit us again. You can, of course, delete these yourself via the options in your browser. None of our cookies harm your computer in any way. The Brille24 online shop will not work if you deactivate cookies because we need to save the information you give us from one stage of the ordering process to the next.
Tracking
We use tracking software to find out how our customers use our website so that we can improve it and make it easier for you to use. The software basically records the journey of clicks through our site. This information will only be used by Brille24 and not passed on to anyone else.
If you don't want us to track your visit, there are tools you can install such as webwasher, bugnosys or AdBlock which block tracking.
Our newsletter may also include tracking. You can block this by setting your mail program to show HTML files as text, or by opening HTML mails when offline.
Other Data
We save server log files information which we receive from your browser or search engine. This data is not saved with a specific link to a person or IP address. We regularly perform statistical analysis and then delete this data.
Newsletter
If you want to receive our newsletter all we need is your e-mail address. No further data is required or saved.
